  FINALLY decided to stop by the Scottsdale Burger Bar and it was awesome! Simple menu but the ingredients are awesome!
  
  I ordered the bacon cheeseburger with bacon with fries and I ate the entire thing! It was that good! The buns are super tasty too!
  
  We will be back!

  The food is honestly really good here. Service, not so great.
  
  I have come in three times so far, and I will probably be back, because I do enjoy the turkey burgers, and my kids love the hot dogs & grilled cheese sandwiches. I can only hope that when I do, this gal behind the counter will no longer be working here.
  
  I don't know if she's having a bad day, perhaps? If she is, you wouldn't know it by the friendly small talk I hear her making with the dudes back there putting together my take-out order, but she devoid of personality when she spoke to me. Totally blah. Discourteous. I am almost embarrassed for her.
  
  Maybe it was because I presented a 20% off Yelp check-in offer? Does she not like people who utilize coupons?
  
  I honestly don't know what I did? In the words of Elle Woods ... maybe "My boobs are too big?" NO IDEA. If she strongly dislikes her job with such an extreme passion that she feels compelled to treat people like crap, then she should choose not to work at this job in this position for the greater good of all concerned.
  
  Burger bar has nice decor. Cool that they offer the old school bendy straws. They have fountain drinks and bottled beverages. I also like the wide array of toppings you can choose to apply to your burgers & dogs.
  
  I do not like how pricey the menu is. I think everything is a little bit more expensive than it needs to be. They'd probably see an increase in traffic if they brought down their price point a lot
  
  It takes too long to get your food. It took quite a while this trip, but it took even longer the last time (& last time I was here there was only 1 party of two ahead of me). I understand the importance of making it fresh, but even still, I really don't think it needs to take quite that long.
  
  When asked whether the same people owned the pita place next door, the employees had a defensive reaction. I wasn't the one who asked, but as a silent observer, I think if it were my place of business, I would be encouraging them to promote both businesses rather than trying to put the hush hush on that.

  Okay, so I came back today 10/27. My autistic son really wanted a hot dog. I live in the 85255, right? SO - I REALLY did not want to go all the way down to Shea just to get him a dog from Portillo's. He didn't want a grocery store bought dog cooked at home.
  
  I call from Petsmart up on Mayo Blvd to order ahead because I know from experience it takes a while to get one's food.
  
  The guy tells me I cannot order a hotdog right now. I'm like, "Why? It's lunchtime on a Sunday??!!"
  
  He goes, "Oh, well, you see ... We would need to thaw out the hot dogs."
  
  I'm like, "Okay???? Well, CAN YA do that for me please? My son would really appreciate that. He was counting on a hotdog for lunch."
  
  Dude at the Burger Bar: "Well, you see ... The thing is ... Defrosting the hotdogs takes like 15-20 minutes."
  
  I go, "That's fine. That's why I'm calling ahead. That's about how long it will take me to get there."
  
  So, when I get there, unbelievably, there is a man named Chris at the register trying to order a hotdog, and I heard the cashier tell him the exact same thing!!!!
  
  You mean to tell me, they only thawed out one freak'n hot dog for my order & that's it? Are they nuts? It's the weekend hotdogs are on their menu. Their hotdogs are great. People are going to be ordering tons of hotdogs. It is World Series time for God's sake. The owner needs to get involved here. These guys obviously have no business acumen AT ALL, or they just do not give a crap about John's profits or satisfying the appetites of hungry customers who have had the hotdogs here before and love them.
  
  Just STUPID.

  Out with the family after a local "snowday" and as we were headed back into the city with hungry stomachs we wanted hamburgers! Thankfully the Yelp app recommended this local North Scottsdale burger spot! The menu is easy to ready and the service was very efficient. We of course all had a burger of some kind, a basket of french fries and onion rings. What was even more impressive is how quickly our food came out!
  Delicious tasting burger patties. Overall nice experience with filled stomachs!

  Hubby and I came here since we both were craving a burger and it was close by to where we were staying.  The place is in a shopping center so lots of parking available.  It was clean and easy to order. As soon as you walk in, you are greeted by cashier and a very simple menu board.  You can select sauces and additional toppings and some were up-charge and others free depending on what you chose.  Hubby and I both got combo deal which included drink and fries.   He ordered his with well done fries and I ordered mine with onion rings.  We paid and they give you a number and your cups to fill with fountain drinks.   There are condiments available by fountain drinks and there is seating inside and outside. We chose to sit outside and our food was brought to us not to long after.  The orders were messed up with the fries and onion rings but we let it be.  We both ended up getting half n half and the fries were not cooked well done.  In any case we both still enjoyed our burgers and I truly appreciated the bun to meat ratio.  It was perfect!  The onion rings were so good.  I didn't care for the french fries.  Hubby ate everything on his plate so he too enjoyed the meal.   I would come back again and try my burger a different way and only get onion rings for sure.  If you check in on yelp you can get a discount off your bill.

  We decided to try this burger place and were thoroughly surprised. Came early and ordered our burgers which is similar to the way Chipotle does it. You order your type of burger, pick the sauce and then the toppings, mushroom was 50 cents extra then fries or onion rings.
  My first impression, I love the buns they use and the hamburger actually covers the whole bun.
  The onion rings where cooked just right, crunchy and not greasy.
  We'll be back.
